Penny Brown Hoax Kid Morphs into Grownup and Plows onto Wordpress and Facebook
Missing Shumila's story is a chain letter hoax. It's taken right from the Penny Brown tale, nearly word for word. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/missing/penny.asp It's very common for chain letter hoaxes to mutate in order to try looking credible. Also, I've looked up the name on online missing person sites and didn't find it. But this link from Snopes should remove all doubt this thing isn't for real. The mutation appears to have started on a wordpress blog.

Interesting stuff, Capri, although I'm not very technical and don't understand how these things work. Thank you for visiting my blog.
You're welcome. Some good hoax-busting, chain-breaking sites to keep handy are http://www.breakthechain.org http://www.truthorfiction.com and http://www.snopes.com the majority of forwards of all kinds are archived, and explained, sometimes verified, most often debunked there.
