Gary Coleman as Arnold on "Different Strokes" was part of my extended TV family when I was growing up, and I always wished I could meet him someday.

Posterous won't let me delete my posts now, or do much in the way of editing.

So here's the deal.

When I first recorded this music, I couldn't remember exactly how the melody went at the end. The demo rendition that came with the keyboard apparently wasn't quite clear enough for me either, or I just didn't know what to listen for.

Mom found the song on Youtube, as well as an English translation, and she showed them to me.

They were beautiful!

So, I got the ending wrong the first time, and now reposting it done right. :)

I've lengthened this piece a bit for performance's sake. It's a piece from one of the higher grades in the RAD ballet syllabus, and it tends to be a bit of a charmer wherever I play it in public. Again, played on the Roland hp 307

More Music - Unnamed Pieces

Here are a couple of ballet class exercises from the RAD syllabus. One of them, the quick waltz type tune I played and recorded a week after getting my keyboard - and I couldn't play a lick of it before this piano arrived.

It just goes to show what hard work, fun and practice on a good instrument can do.

The other piece is also from ballet, but a much higher grade, and it sounds like good music to put in the background of a movie scene.
