They know that past a certain point their violence is destructive to their own cause.  Piss people off enough and there will be a concerted and workable effort to remove all effects of animal rights activism from the lawbooks, again.  This time I want to see it become permanent.  The only humane laws that should be on the books should be the ones that protect the rights of the owners, such that if someone abuses or steals my pet, which is my property, they go to jail and there can be felony charges.  You will notice that the so-called humane organizations do everything that it takes to undermine ownership rights, AND strong pet theft laws would tend to make it harder for the SPCAs and the other animal rights organizations to steal pets under color of law. Mandatory spay and neuter means pets must grow old and die without replacements. No more babies, no more pets in our homes.  Stop it before it's nationwide. Sterile animals cannot replenish themselves. It's the "facts" of life.
