Yes, and it disgusts me when people I know in real life talk about their pets as their "furkids" or "furry children" etc. Trying to get them to break this bad habit is really tough because they just want to be blind to the facts of what this is actually doing.

I gently correct anyone who tries to call me Akina's "mommy" uh, Akina was weaned off her mommy two and a half years ago.

Anyone who calls themself an "animal rescue" is definitely a red flag. Sadly, it wasn't when I was new to the net and animal communities.

I think we need to develop a sort of test routine to decide early on if someone is "AR positive". I avoid people who talk about their "furkids".

What's even scarier is that we can't tell who's going to be a backstabber and aw nut right off, especially if we don't know all the signs to look for in the beginning. Now, I'm so wary of anyone that even the use of a mild aw term will set my warning bells off. And yes, anyone who tries to labl me as a bad person for whatever reason has become trash in my book, and no matter how nice they might be later on, if they talked trash about me once before, they're likely to do it again especially if it'll pump up their own ego. So no second chances for backstabbing aw nutters, that's for sure.

I wrote off a guy who used to be (I thought) my really good friend. It's so dangerous out there, now.. You cannot afford to take a chance on people, especially a second chance. Never give them a second chance, because they will almost certainly do the same thing, all over again... or worse.

I would never let the aw "animal rescuing" wench who abused me back into my life again, even if she did apologize, which definitly isn't likely. Once a person judges me as someone who they think shouldn't own their favorite animal species or anything else, they've burned their bridges beyond all repair.

A friend of mine was raising two breeds.. don't want to say which. One of the breeds happened to be the favorite of a psycho-betty dog rescue nut.. She was stalking and harrassing my friend, and finally her favorite dog ended up poisoned and dead. Later, she learned this woman was acting crazy to a lot of other people, not just her. She stopped for awhile.. not sure why.. maybe she was being a good girl and taking her lithium. LOL.. Anyways.. the psycho-betty rescue nut-job came by to apologize for her behavior and offered to start driving my friend's young son to school, since they both went to the same school. NO WAY!!!! That would scare the hell out of me!!!
