We've got to learn how to cultivate kindness. They keep starting these fights because that's what they know how to do. They have a lot of pet owners fighting other pet owners by getting them to believe that punishment is the way to create a better world for their animals. I am part of the side that knows that humans are kind to animals and that kindness breeds kindness.

The fights that they start enforce the crime and punishment model, and they're making anything they can a crime, punishing as severely as they can get away with, and stealing everything in sight. The principle that humans should be treated kindly does not seem to occur to each side. Our side is saying "we're being treated so badly." That's the idea. We need more defensive and offensive positions that push the fact that most of these breeders do good works for the animals as do most pet owners, and humanity is good for the world. Get rid of the guilt. That's their worst weapon against us. They can't use kindness against us.

Mandatory spay and neuter means pets must grow old and die without replacements. No more babies, no more pets in our homes. Stop it before it's nationwide. Sterile animals cannot replenish themselves. It's the "facts" of life.
