Oh, but let's not make animals a partisan political fight, OK? We don't want to estrange anyone on the left, do we? LOL (shaking head, sadly)..
I HATE TO SAY "I TOLD YOU", BUT, HEY.. "I TOLD YOU!!!!"
I hope you all enjoy your tofu burgers and overpriced beef, dairy, eggs, poultry, fish. I just hope we can manage to hang onto our purebred dogs, but it's anything goes, now.
Our only real hope is that when all the fruits of this are tasted and found too bitter to eat, that people will turn against the socialist Democrats for the next 20 years.

A New Era of Animal Rights in Washington

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

Furry and feathered creatures are being welcomed back to Washington.
Cass Sunstein, just confirmed as an Obama regulatory czar, has argued
for more animal rights and new hunting regulations. The president has
taken note of farming's impact on animals. And Bruce Friedrich, VP of
policy and government affairs for People for the Ethical Treatment of
Animals in Washington, has hit the road to debate veganism on America's
college campuses. "It's about convincing the nation's best and brightest
to take concern for animals seriously," says Friedrich, who scored
points at Harvard this week and plans stops soon at the University of
Pennsylvania, Penn State, and Brown. The 1991 Grinnell College grad says
of the new era: "In an array of ways, the Obama administration is better
for animals than any previous administration, though we do, of course,
have a very long way to go.

Mandatory spay and neuter means pets must grow old and die without replacements. No more babies, no more pets in our homes.  Stop it before it's nationwide. Sterile animals cannot replenish themselves. It's the "facts" of life.
