Finally Getting Tired

I've checked all my email, and it's barely trickling in now.

I hadn't written much in here because there wasn't too much to write about.
So, I decided to put in some posts from elsewhere or from my own files. The
last few dealing with what I found on snopes about the kruft that passes for
content on Myspace. Speaking of Myspace, I should check to see if they've
installed an audio option so users with visual impairments can register. If
not, there's little hope for them, they are about as non-existent as Yahoo
customer care when it comes to trouble-shooting.

Abby is back in my room after nearly a month of living down in the sewing
room. She had to go down there where it was cooler, mid July was sweltering,
and my room got too hot to safely keep her there.

It's cooled off considerably now, and I don't think it'll get quite that hot
again. Even if it does, the days are getting shorter now, and the nights
cooler. If we get another heat wave, I can always move her sleeping box
downstairs during the day and put her back in the cage in the evenings.

TV was boring, so I didn't have it on when Abby was in her running ball. She
was so excited to go out in that again and run in the basement. She wouldn't
hop into the ball when she was living down in the sewing room, but now
things are back to normal, and we're both very happy. It was awkward trying
to give her attention down in that room, the cage was on the floor, which
meant kneeling down, and the floor blocked the door from coming down far
enough.

Now, in my room, the cage is back on my desk, and the door opens at a nearly
180 degree angle, making it much easier for me to stand there and reach in,
or stand and hold the running ball in the right position.

The only problem now is we have wasps in the house! Tons of them, and it's
confounding trying to figure out how they get in and where they're coming
from!

I don't like this a bit! Stinging insects frighten me, and wasps horrify me
because of the experience I had last summer.
